India is not safe for Women

India is not safe for women!!! You may think that I gone mad or I am just giving hype to the title and trying to increase my traffic. Whatever it is, this is true. We are the one who follow great customs  and differ from the west in our traditions. We give importance to our family and we have our own belief of how a woman should be. Everything is right, but a recent poll conducted by Thomson Reuters Foundation that India is the 4th most dangerous country for women next to Afghanistan, Congo and Pakistan. Female foeticide, child marriage and trafficking are the major reasons behind this ranking. Home secretary Madhukar Gupta stated that 100 million people involving mostly women and children are involved in trafficking. More than 50 million girls are missing due to trafficking and foeticide. Almost 45 percent of girls are married before the age of 18. 90% of the trafficking cases are reported in India. It also says that 30 Lakh women are involved in prostitution among which 40% are below the age of 18. Compulsory marriage is also  the major problem.

How Teachers teach in Rural India?

 I recently saw a video in Facebook and as we do usually I too just clicked on it and watched it casually keeping myself relaxed on my chair. The video was titled , "How teachers teach in rural India-sad". At first I just thought the there will be a error with the mode of teaching, which means instead of explaining the concept the teacher might be just reading the book. This is what happening in most of the schools in rural India where the teacher himself/herself lack the essential knowledge to teach. They just take it as a profession to earn for their living. But when I saw the video I was shocked even more, the teacher even doesn't know the spelling of Sunday and she teaches it as "Sande".

 Who is the one who is supposed to be blamed? Even after 63 years of Independence we are still asking for our basic needs. Is this what the so called right to education. We had many great teachers who brought many bright students into light. But when I look into this video, I really worry whether we will lose some bright mind in that group who could change the entire world.

Baba Ramdev - Good or Bad !!!

 Popularity gained over night is something which I have seen in movies and read in books. Probably people who took sports and acting as a career can be given exception to the above said statement. But now we could able to see many such incidents happening all of a sudden all in the name of the so called 'Patriotism'. Are they really patriotic or just taking advantage of the trigger of a loaded gun. The one who is now in the headlines is the yoga guru Baba Ramdev. The one who is familiar only to particular group of people or in a particular region is now talk of the entire nation. Not only in the media, he is also topping the search trends in leading search engines.

 Before supporting someone blindly, it is always better to know something about the motto behind him. The entire nation supported Anna Hazare on his fasting to bring the Lokpal bill. There was no difference of opinion among the people or media during his fast and the entire nation supported him wholeheartedly to fight against corruption. But what is the problem exactly with this yoga guru? Why there is a difference of opinion among people and media in his concern? Whether this person is really worried about the present scenario in the country or trying to get some fame for his personal benefits? Possibly the question for many of us and I hope that's why many of you are reading this article. What exactly is his demands? He just have a list of demands and very important among them is bringing back the black money slashed in foreign banks, demonetization of Rs.500 and Rs.1000, death penalty for corruption etc., How come death penalty for corrupted is practically possible. May be you will think that it will create some fear among the corrupted to do so. But what will happen if it is misused? We have several cases where wrong cases are filed on sincere officers by the politicians to remove him from the power as he would have been a barrier for them to fulfill their needs. Leaving the other demands, bringing the black money slashed in foreign banks is a demand in need. I hope the entire nation will support this demand, but is this person making use of the demand for his political outfit. Is he backed by certain parties to make use of him in the next election? 

 Looking Back into the History

 When Anna Hazare fought against the government to bring the lokpal, I surfed back into his history and it was incredible and this made many of us to come forward and believe him from the heart and made us to accept him as a living Gandhi. But the condition is not same in the case of Baba Ramdev. When I surfed to look back into his history, it was shocking. Let me list out below some of the shocking information's which I came to know about him,

1. I have read that one who gives up everything is called a Sanyasi, but this Sanyasi has lot of institutions under him. Patanjali Ayurved College, Patanjali Chikitsalaya, Yog Gram, Go-Shala, Patanjali Herbal Botanical Garden, Organic Agriculture Farm, Patanjali Food and Herbal product limited are few to be noted. He also runs a television channel named Aaastha Tv. So can we call him a corporate sanyasi?

2. He is a billionaire and everything is earned from the people. It is said that he charges Rs.50,000 for teaching yoga.

3. He got into a controversy of using animal parts in his ayurvedic medicine manufactured from his company.

4. He violated labour law in his own company by paying minimum wages.

5. He protested to stop sex education and to make yoga the alternative. (Hope he doesn't know the reason behind high AIDS patients in India).

6. He claimed that he can cure AIDS and Cancer through his Yoga and ayurvedic medicine manufactured from his company.

7. He had a contradicting view against legalizing homosexuality in India. ( I suggest him to know the science behind homosexuality).

Is this too a move for fame?

 From the incidents in the past, it is very clear that he always tried to do something to attain fame. Even his support to Anna Hazare too may have such a reason behind. Anna Hazare didn't have any political back up to start his fast, but the people joined him in large. But he started with the political back up which is well know to all of us. Finally his recent statement to train youngsters to form a military simply shows that it is going to spoil the harmony. I think Anna Hazare and his team might be well aware about him and just to stop difference of opinion for a common problem they might have supported. Hope their support is for the problem and not him particularly.

Do I support?

 Yes, I do support the prime motto of bringing back the black money.Hope the entire nation supports the cause and I ask you to do so. But I am very clear that I am not supporting the yoga guru and his political outfit.

Verdict

 Whoever the person may be, I support for the noble cause and not the person in particular. Well, what is my final point. Is he good or bad? It is you who have to decide.
